Matt Ord
Matthew Ord has been a steady fixture in the Northeast Pennsylvania music scene for over a decade. Eschewing a single-genre approach, he draws from a wide-ranging catalog of songs to keep his performances fresh and adaptive to any room.
From local taverns to intimate venues, Matt is known for a relaxed, authentic acoustic style that bridges the gap between background atmosphere and engaging live entertainment. With more than ten years of local gigging under his belt, he brings a seasoned perspective and an easygoing vibe to every stage he hits.
Kid Bess and the Magic Ring
KidBess is a musician and visual artist based in upstate New York.
Recognized for passionate performance, warm-textured vocals, open hearted lyrics, and gritty swells, KidBess (Bess Greenberg) debuted as a solo performer in the summer of 2017, performing on upright bass and electric guitar. She released a self-produced debut studio album in November of 2022, entitled PEARLS, featuring 21 original tracks. She is the leader of KidBess & The Magic Ring — a five-piece, lyrically based, psychedelic space rock band, featuring two guitars, cello, electric bass and drums. They released their debut EP
Electric Soul on June 8, 2024, and released follow up singles
in the spring/summer of 2025.
The Neo Politans
The Neo Politans offer a distinctive mix of original songs from guitarist/singer/songwriter Bob Rodgers (Get Lost) spanning genres of rock, honk, funk and blues, with live performances peppered with deep-cut covers from Petty to the Heads to Hank Williams. Bob, bassist Luke Brown (Damn the Kid, the Egomaniacs), and rhythm guitarist Shawn Travis (the Grooves) are all members of longtime local classic rock band the Watts. Drummer, Mike Micha also plays in the Grown Ups is the sound engineer and owner of the Abandoned Studios recording studio. Rounding out the band are James Burns from BU’s African Music Ensemble NukPorfe and Meghan Leonard from Sonny on the Causeway. Their third album, Where the Magic Happens was just released in March.
